SIP’s panels as a build system can be designed to construct virtually any style of building from very traditional to contemporary. Standardised panel sizes and connection components allow for extreme ease and flexibility of configuration.  

 

Using  SIP panels takes care of the thermal envelope of the building and allows for a wide range of finishes to be applied, including render, brick-slip, timber cladding, composite panel or even stone.

Because our panels are precision manufactured off-site, they go together quickly and accurately on-site. This means the finished building will adhere to the original dimensions planned, within a very tight tolerance. Additionally, architectural features such as complex dormers aren’t left to chance, and can be manufactured and then located on site without error.

Because the build system uses the highest quality materials and has been tested to, and accredited with, the highest European Agreement Standards, it will meet or exceed all the requirements of current and future UK Building Regulations and Building Standards.

The excellent thermal performance of MgO SIP panels combined with the Econex component’s ability to minimise thermal bridging and maximise thermal airtightness, means that high levels of performance can be easily achieved using the MTL build system, with the risk of on-site build error, virtually eliminated.

Each building supplied by MTL Systems will have been structurally designed by our engineers, with full structural calculations provided for foundation slab design by the project architects.

Faster, easier and safer on-site build

Integrated Build System dramatically reduces construction time and labour costs. The assembly of the building structure is typically measured in days rather than weeks to months.

It is far easier to accurately predict completion times, it is relatively simple to erect and requires no wet trades or brick layers and has low wastage which allows accurate fixed costs.

External and internal follow on trades can start work sooner and the integrated Build System offers a weather tight shell helping you complete faster.

Reductions in on-site work, site deliveries, heavy materials and wastage through the use of MTL’s build system all lead to improved site safety.

If you are new to SIP’s technology, we have an in house design team that are always available to support you with technical input. We can convert your existing scheme into a SIP’s design and offer input with value analysis.
